Monthly Planning Shifts
The Monthly Planning Shifts module is used to plan production batches based on production lines, shifts, and production orders.
This module helps align production orders with the available production line schedules and shift timings to plan manufacturing activities efficiently.
Production Order Alignment
Production Orders are aligned with Production Lines based on the Finished Goods Part Name selected during production order creation.
When the finished goods Part Name is selected, the system automatically displays the Production Orders associated with the corresponding Production Line.
This ensures that only relevant production orders are planned for that specific production line.
Shift and Date Alignment
Once the production order is selected:
- The available Shift schedules will be displayed.
- The planned dates will align based on the generated shift calendar.
- Leave days and shift configurations defined in the Shift Master and Generate Shift modules will also be considered.
This helps ensure that production planning follows the defined shift structure.
Batch Creation
Within the Monthly Planning Shifts screen, users can create Batches for the selected production order.
While creating a batch:
- The system displays the Cycle Time for the operation.
- The Unit of Measure (UOM) for the production quantity will also be shown.
This helps determine the production capacity and batch planning accurately.
Batch Details
After a batch is created, it will appear in the planning view.
Users can perform the following actions:
- Hover on the batch to view key production details.
- Click on the batch to open the detailed information panel.
The details panel will display the batch information and allow users to perform the following actions.
