Item Category

  1. Navigate to the Item Category section from the MES Dashboard or main menu.
  2. Here, you can view, create, or manage item categories used throughout the MES application.
  3. Item categories help organize and classify items for easier tracking and reporting.

Item Category Details Displayed​

Each item category includes the following information:

  • Name – The name of the item category.
  • Code – A unique code assigned to the item category.
  • Description – A short description explaining the purpose or type of the category.
  • Status – Indicates whether the category is Active or Inactive. Alt text for the image

Additional Options​

  • Use the Search Bar to quickly find a specific item category.
  • Click the Refresh Icon to update the category list after changes.
