Location

The Location module is part of the Masters section in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). It shows the list of warehouse or storage locations that are linked to a specific Division. Alt text for the image

Overview​

  • Locations are added based on business or warehouse setup.
  • Each location is linked to a Division.
  • Locations define where your stock is stored or moved.

What You Can Do​

  • View existing locations created for your assigned division(s).
  • Use locations in stock transactions like receive, transfer, and request.
  • You cannot create or edit locations unless you have Admin or specific access.

Why It Matters​

  • Locations help track where inventory is stored in your organization.
  • Every transaction (receive, transfer, adjustment) happens at a location.
  • Keeps stock records organized and accurate.

If a location is missing or incorrect, contact your Admin.
