Division

The Division module is part of the Masters section in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). It shows a list of business divisions that have been created and mapped by the Admin.

Overview​

  • Divisions are pre-created by the Admin during the initial setup.
  • They are used to group different locations or branches under a company structure.
  • This setup helps manage operations separately for each division.

What You Can Do​

  • View the list of available divisions.
  • Refer to a division when creating or viewing related data (like Locations, Items, or Users).
  • You cannot add, edit, or delete divisions unless you have Admin access.

Why It Matters​

  • Every Location and Item must be linked to a Division.
  • Helps maintain clean separation of data across different branches or units.
  • Ensures proper access control and reporting.

If a required division is missing, contact your system Admin.
